How in the world is Sony winning this poll? Are we completely ignoring all their commercials before 2009?

Anyway, I think Microsoft and a lot of their games are heavily frontloaded, so they do seem to work.

The awfulness that was Sony's PS3 ads prior to KB almost outweigh the gains since. I actually liked the old PSP ads.

he most recent MS ads I can remember feature Jane Lynch and I thought they were terrible.

Lately? Sony without a doubt.

Overall tho? I have no idea. I have to vote Sony tho because, regardless of history, the KB ads of today stick with me.

I gotta go with Sony's Kevin Butler commercials. Hilarious.

Special mention to Nintendo's NSMBWii commercial. Thought that was pretty well done too.
Did not like the Wii would like to play ads. Just didn't get me.

I know Microsoft had some good commercials, but to me, nothing really memorable.

I'd say sony has the best commercials right now, but their earlier ones were confusing and some were sort of creepy. I believe the infamous baby ad has already been mentioned.

I can't believe people say Nintendo has dominated marketing just because they are ahead...I honestly can't recall a single Wii commercial from the last 3-4 years.  I slightly remember seeing some 360 ones and clearly remember many of the Sony ones just because of Butler.  I don't think Nintendo has to advertise much...they have enough popularity that I think it spreads around in that way.



Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

The last Nintendo ad I seen was from the game Punch Out. Nintendo had good ads when they first came out but they really haven't done much in the last 2 years.

And Sony has just been spitting out commercials left and right ever since the Slim came out and everyone of them is gold. The ads they had when the PS3 was released were not that great and they did bad for advertising games, but over the last year or so they've made up for it.

I'm constantly seeing Nintendo ads on TV, and I don't even watch much TV. Their Ant and Dec ads in the UK have been recognized as the most effective UK ads of 2009 in a study. Almost all their ads communicate the right messages about their games, they've been consistently excellent, but one recent US marketing campaign that's been good from Sony and the vgchartz Sony population have their excuse to make this poll turn out just like every other "Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo" poll on the forum.

Your entitled to your own opinion, same as everyone else. Just because you think it's the best doesn't mean it is.
