Forums - General Discussion - Post a sad song. sad songs say so much.

Here's some recordings I've done in my basement over the past few months. A lot of sad songs there. A cover of The Beatles "for no one" quite a sad song. Some songs I wrote. Some Elliott Smith covers. Check it out if you want

Haha, this used to be one of my favorite Beck songs, but I'm not quite sure why you think it's sad :p

One of the best movies of the last decade and one of the saddest movie songs.

Haunting... moody... wonderful. I crank this song up every time I hear it on the radio. I always feel a mixture of happiness and sadness.

This was supposed to be just another Pixar film, but it was something much more than that. It's been a while since I've seen something with so much heart in it. What a beginning to a movie... with so many ups and downs, hopes and losses...

I totally forgot about this song for a long, long time. Then it just appeared on the radio one day, and tears literally fell from my face as the lines "Please tell mom this is not her fault." (geting teary eyed now). There's just so much pain and sadness in this song.

Have you seen the commercial about helping abused animals that uses "In the Arms of an Angel."  It's all I can do not to bawwwww every time I see it.

OT: When it comes to sad songs, country's where it's at.

Show Me has to be one of the most hauntingly powerful songs I've ever heard.
