I guess some folks want popular threads, but can we have some common sense in wording.

The writer is asked about visuals. He replies they looked better to him. He didn't use any words that were negative or slamming - he said what I've seen of game X looks to me (a writer remember) better than game Y.

Now he did use much more inflammatory language in his other quotes - but even so, it's a stretch to take this quote and say he "slams" Killzone 2 graphics.

As an aside, as an award winning writer (apparently, checking him out) I love the use of 'Unknown Writer" to describe him.

I think crysis 2 is going to be an amazing game. I really do. But KZ2 has some intense graphics to live up to. But as far as shooters that can surpass it, Crysis 2 would be my best bet. I think KZ2 was used because it is a shooter. Not because it is still the graphical king, it is the king for graphical king for FPS for sure though. I am so excited about crysis 2. Sadly I am gonna use my new PC for this. I may get it from gamefly on the PS3, just to see what it looks like on there. And to get some trophies. ;) That is if starcraft 2 doesn't take up all my time.

I guess that's a way to make people play a game they would otherwise never even look at: Keep talking shit about other FPS' that are actually successful and have a fan base.

that's was the success of killzone 2 in the first place. bellow average game with terrible singleplayer that makes Halo 3 campaign look like an rpg and bad controls, but hey it was ps3 exclusive and had great graphics for a console game that was made by sacrificing everything else.

i will give benefit of the doubt cause unlike Guerilla Games they proven already that they can make amazing games and current footage of 360 version of Crysis 2 and their engine on consoles is simply amazing. 

sony fans can talk shit, but what they shown on GDC when they were presenting CryEngine 3 was running straight from 360 and that footage already looked way better than killzone 2 with physics that blew pretty much everything ever made on consoles to date.

KZ2 was a great game. I will admit, the single player had a crappy story. But it is a great game. 

I doubt a multiplatform game will be the graphical king on either console. But I don't see surpassing a game that is will be nearly two years old by the time C2 released as being a major accomplishment, it should be expected.

So you have been into this thread ,,,you have attacked 2 exclusive games (KZ2 and GOWIII,,which i can promise that u haven;t played yourself)and you have not been banned yet.

oh wait this screen makes even call of duty 5 look like a Crysis on pc. see i can too get a crappy screen, but atleast i don't use screens from early alpha version of the game to back my statements especially when all around people who actually played the game say that it looks better than anything else on consoles and especially when gameplay vids from consoles that all of us can see look way better than killzone 2.

Well he's 100% on about MW2 being an immense disappointment. Its arguable if it has better graphics than Killzone 2. And he said the Halo story is bullshit (not just the game) and I don't disagree. Halo is a mostly online game and I don't know that many people that care about the story.

I'm not defending him, I'm just saying he's not way off on what he's said.
