Forums - Nintendo - Sega learns from Capcom

It's good that it's a budget title, but $30 still feels like about $10 too much for a straight port of two 5+-year-old arcade shooters. Unless it's not a straight port, in which case it might be all right. Here's hoping for some extra content.

Hey, here's an idea... the Wii can support Bluetooth keyboards, right? So, how awesome would it be if they added a "Typing of the Dead" mode? :)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

......why not wiiware?

I just finished Okami after 66 hours and 44 minutes. It does not need more content. It's almost too big as it is, seriously.

And the Dreamcast had nothing but good games. Unfortunately every single other thing about it failed, but at least it's cheap to get now, especially with the decline in CD-R prices... =P

I really hoped they would've added House of the Dead 1 to the bundle as well, as that's the one I played the most back when my country still had arcades, but even those two should offer enough to do for a while. Probably not buying it myself, as the price is bound to be at least 40€ around here. ;__;

Those games are awesome, brings back some fond memories I have of virtue cop 1&2 for the saturn..I had 2 sega light guns and me and my friends used to have the best time playing those games. I really wish I still had my saturn, I contemplate everyday about getting another one.

I know why sega failed with the dreamcast. They cant make good games.

actually they had some awesome game

The Dreamcast didn't fail per se. They just pulled the plug because they couldn't finance it.

And then... Sammy ate their soul.

What is wiiware?

mM

Wii Ware is the Wii's download service for original titles, like XBLA, and whatever Sony is cooking up for the PS3. The first titles are arriving early next year, and surprisingly many of them appear pretty decent.
