I did a quick google and this is what I got http://www.topix.com/forum/videogame/ps3/TVTQNSOA0MRR7ACDJ  one of the posters halfway down said this:

"What the Heck is wrong with all of you?
First, you need to go to the PS Store from your PS3. You need to download the PS2 Network Adaptor software from the store. It's free, and it emulates the PS2 network adaptor's functions. The games will think you have a PS2 network adaptor plugged in.
Second, put in the PS2 games and try to get online like normal. Like I said, the PS2 game will think there is an adaptor and it will do it's usual thing."

I don't know if this is true just what the guy said :P

Yeah. The PS3 supports up to 7 controllers (I believe) and it's just simple assigning of the controllers.

Fixed :)

That's right. For some reason I was thinking it got knocked down to 6.
