So I'm trying to download Firstplay and the Just Cause 2 but my internet connection sucks so the speed is super slow meaning I'm having to do other things to pass the time, I could play another game but all the ones I want to play (mainly Uncharted2) require an internet connection so I decided to fold.

I tried to start it up but instead of the normal look, I get a slightly blown and off colour version, it doesn't even appear in the middle of the screen, it's as if the adjustment is completely off, so much so that I can only see it hanging at the corner or the screen! After it starts up, I can no longer access the XMB, whenever I try, it freezes up the ps3 forcing me to restart.

Any ideas?

Never happened to me though i rarely go on life with playstation.

Did this happen after any updates?

Did you recently upload personal video or media to your PS3?

Did it work earlier in the week?

Did you do anything to the PS3 recently? move it, clean it?

As I said internet connection was poor and I needed to download an update for Uncharted2 so I moved it to the source of the connection that's when it started but I've moved it back and it still seems to be messed up, it was fine the day before.

never heard of that before, hopefully it will get sorted.

LWP is a pretty decent app imo

lame, the same thing is now affecting Home as well, everytime I start it up it just looks as if the screen is badly tuned in or something.
