Thanks for all the replies! Some of these games I'm familiar with and have been considering (like Mass Effect) and others I had heard about a long time ago and forgot about (like Ninety-Nine Nights). Yeah I think I'll get a battery pack because it sounds simple and easy to charge it.

Is there any advantage to hooking it up via HDMI? Right now I have it hooked up via component cables. At first I didn't realize there's a switch on actual AV cable! (This is much better than the Wii, which gives you composite and forces you to shell out $$$ for your component cables).

Also, are there some cool titles for the original XBox that are compatible and worth picking up? Here in Taiwan there are some good retro stores that lots of old XBox games (as well as Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Game Boy, Wonderswan, Neo Geo CD, Famicom Disk System, you name it). I've been looking at Jet Set Radio Future, that games looks pretty slick!

Oh and special thanks to Barozi for the Regional Compatibility list. This helps a lot!

I would have recommended Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1 & 2, but it seems like the NTSC/J version is not supported...

Jet Set Radio Future is cool though and would work.

Some other great Xbox titles, that will work with your console:

- Amped & Amped 2 (With SSX the best Snowboard game series)
- Conker: Live & Reloaded
- Dead or Alive 3 (best in the series)
- Fable
- Jade Empire
- Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
- Ninja Gaiden Black
- The Simpsons Hit & Run
- Soul Calibur II (also best in the series)
- Splinter Cell 1-4
- Tony Hawk's Underground

(from this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360)

You mention Jade Empire but forget KOTOR and KOTOR II? *picks jaw up off of floor and walks away slowly*

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

@liam

I don't think there is much of a difference. I know quite a few people who have it on its side and I probably know the same amount of people who don't.

EA NHL Games are good.... I like the 2K Sports ones as well...

If you are into a arcade title EA also has 3 on 3 NHL Hockey as well... I found it to be fun.

Hope you enjoy your purchase I would suggest trying Too Human and Ninety-Nine Nights (sequel is coming soon) along with the other games people mentioned.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
