Forums - Sony - PSM Magazine: Portal 2 NOT confirmed

A GAF user get the PSM magazine and Portal 2 is not confirmed for the PS3, there's a mention of the game in couple of paragraphs but not a confirmation.

Portal 2: Set 150 years after the original, Portal 2 sees AI GlaDOS reactivated in an overgrown Aperture Science lab. You play as Chell from the first game and tackle more platform puzzles - only this time you can go through in co-op, off and online. According to Valve physics will play a greater role this time and there will be more objects to help you solve problems.¨

And that's all, so I guess that only EA or Valve can confirm or deny this, and BTW here's the details about the "exciting" game Fear 3

Alma's pregnancy has opened a rift in space and time. Her contractions are causing shockwaves that are fucking up reality like Half Life 2's portal storms. As her labour progresses the contractions will come stronger and more frequently. Point Man is back from the chopper crash in FEAR 1 and has had time to grow out his crewcut into a homeless-man style beard. Paxton Fettel is still psychically possessing Foxtrot 813's body from FEAR 2 Reborn.

Singleplayer is Point Man only, co-op is Point Man and Fettel. Has a "Generative Scare" system where the Ring/Ju-On style moments are now randomly generated. Fettel can not use weapons but he can stun enemies, suspend them and possess them and can then use their weapons through them. He can also see alternate routes and hidden stashes but the player doesn't have to tell Point Man about them, although the previewers have no idea why you would withold that info. The mechs are still in the game and both brothers get to use them.
Screens looked identical to FEAR 2.
Uuhhmmmm ... ok I guess this seal could reflect something about the writers of this game.

Wait, it's 150 years later and you play as the same character?

Since when did the portal gun let you time travel?

That 150 year thing is bugging me too. If that is indeed correct, then perhaps it's because Valve wants to distance Portal and Half-Life so while certain elements intertwine (ex- the Borealis), they don't want the two fully coming together?

Otherwise, perhaps Chell uses the same kind of slow teleports that Alyx and Gordon find themselves in when they escaped Nova Prospekt. :P

I guess a gun that can open dimensional shortcuts from thin air, can also let you do some time travel =P

PSM3 isn't the most reliable of sources. I used to read theire magazines alot and they were wrong quite often, especially on their "inside tips" section.

Why would PSM mention a game that isn't on the PS3 ?

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Seem's kinda silly for a magazine to mention a game your not getting, I guess the name Portal 2 probably sold a few more copies.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I must be the only person who really really liked F.E.A.R. 2.

Gman probably picked up the girl from Portal, "Wake up Chell, Wake up...".
