You don't need HDMI 1.3 or 1.4 for console gaming 3D... Reason why PS3 needs to have HDMI 1.4 (or modified 1.3 in its case) is because of Bluray 3D which is always 1080p.
HDMI 1.2 supports 1080p @ 60 hz...Considering that no 360 game is native 1080p (other than Virtua tennis for some reason)...you should easliy be able to do 2 video streams of 720p @ 60 hz. That still leaves the same question that I have for PS3 3D...how the hell are they going to render Gears of War 2X when doing it 1X pushes the console limits.
Or they may decide to go for the checkerboard like driver like in Avatar game for ps360... Thats the most efficient solution and it looks 95% as good as true 120 hz 3D...however making it work on these new 3D TVs will be tricky.
