I eventually want to pick up this game, as I loved the first 3 Dragon Quest games on the GB/GBC. But there are a bunch of other games I want first, and I simply have no money, so this one is gonna have to hold off :(

Well, if you die, it is alright in Dragon Quest, you get to keep everything you gained (exp, items, etc...) but you lose half the gold you have on you (you can bank gold at towns, to protect it from this) and return to the last save point, that is all.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
I did die a couple times when I was a kid in DQV... after that, it's pretty smooth especially if you take a little time to level up a bit.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
Personally I liked Dragon Warrior II on GBC. Now that's a good rpg. Get it!!
Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"
I invested much more time into IV than V.
Not that both experiences weren't enriching, V, I feel, is easier by comparison.
If you're new to the series, try it out. I'm a huge DQ fan because of these two remakes. Well and my love for Dragon Warrior and DWMonsters respectively.
