I have had it! Im sick of these little pest. I hate Spring for the sole reason that it brings these disgusting vermin with it!. I work 2:30 - 10:00pm every night and when I get home( a apartment) I have to deal with several handful of Mosquito's buzzing like crazy around my porch light( automatic) or sitting on my door or other locations in close proximity to my destination and it becomes a game of how to get in my house without letting of these fuckers in and im getting really tired of it. It makes this worst because admittedly, Mosquito's creep me out, I reeeeeeeaaaaaaally dont seeing or hearing them especially when there huge kind and the fact thay carry lots of diseases only amplifies my dislike. So what that being said what are some solutions to dealing with this pest? please dont suggest repellent, I tried it before didnt work It doesn't last long and by the time i get home the effect would be over + just made the mosquitoes group in one location( that I 4got to spray) that nearly made me vomit.

Also, don't eat bananas.

The scent of bananas attracts mosquitoes, so you shouldn't eat bananas, unless you want mosquitoes to come and bite you.

1) Drink tonic water, apparently that helps.

2) Yes, mosquito repellent DOES help. But only the ones you put on yourself. There are these great patches which you can put on clothing, and they smell of lemongrass.

there are actually some lightbulbs available that are supposed to repel insects. you could replace your outdoor light with one and see how it goes. i think they are only a few bucks.
