Blue and Red, then Gold and Silver, then Ruby and Sapphire, then Diamond and Pearl, and now we're going back to colors!!!!! No more jewelry!!! YES!!!!

Gold/Silver and Ruby/Sapphire are colors, but they are also jewelry.
Black/White is not a type of jewelry. Only a color. Just like the first generation.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

OT: Something tells me Ninty is going back to their roots with these new versions. It makes sense since they went back to colors instead of going with minerals. Why would they go from Colors>Jewelry/Colors>Minerals/Jewelry>Colors? WTF? If they don't then too bad.
