Forums - Nintendo - Why the graphics in Crystal Bearers is more impressive than many think.

similar or superior to that seen in Monster Hunter 3.

it's a shame that this game has been ignored by many people.

I'd say MHTri tops it, but it also has longer loading that ensure greater graphics (at least the demo has substantial loading).

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Yes, it is a great looking Wii game. I always thought it was.

Does FF: CC have open areas where you can move quickly or closed in areas where you're restricted in terms of how far/fast you can move? If its the former than Uncharted is incomparable as the gameplay of Uncharted is dictated by the streaming engine and you will be right to say it is a technical achievement.

Art design in games is a pretty big factor, at least for me. The best graphics imaginable will only seem bland if the game design isn't good.

I haven't played FFCC, but from what I've seen, from an artistic view point, it's top notch. Square Enix tend to get that down pretty well.

More or less open areas where you can move fairly quickly, especially if you have a chocobo. To clarify they are open in the way Hyrule Field is open in Twilight Princess rather than Grand Theft Auto.

CB visuals are gorgeous , no doubt.TP to me, is weaker in some visual aspects than CB, and the art designs are kinda par in level.
