I am writing this as a fellow gamer.

This topic has been on my mind for ages and I would just like to share my thoughts.

People, us as gamers own 2010. I'm sure many would've realised by now how awesome 2010 is shaping up. There are so many great games coming out this year, both exclusives and multiplat. I find is so stupid that people would argue with others about which console has the best lineup or best games this year.

Obviously X360 only owners would say X360 owns 2010. Obviously PS3 only owners would say PS3 owns 2010 and same for the Wii.

X360 fanboy "Yeh X360 fuckin owns 2010 coz we've got Halo Reach and Natal is gonna be huge!!"

PS3 fanboy "WTF!! Gran Turismo 5? The Last Guardian? Ever heard of those? And yeh the PS Eye 2.0 is really gonna be huge..."

Wii fanboy "You're both nuts. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: THe Other M and Zelda Wii. Automatic Win for the Wii 2010."

Also another thing that annoys me A LOT... Graphics Comparisons.

Alan Wake vs Uncharted 2 Comparison = EPIC FAIL.

Why?

Because if you notice, people who love their Xbox say "Alan Wake is better" and people who love their PS3 say "Uncharted 2 is better" and so then people get into these stupid arguments and once again, the arguments go no where. Both games look great. What else is there to talk about. I think as us gamers we should be happy to see that Devs from different consoles really show off the graphical power of their games and so in the end, it's us as gamer who get that satisfaction.

If we all take a step back and actually read some of the shit found not only here but on every gaming site, it really doesn't do anyone justice because in the end, the arguments are going to go no where. So why can't us as gamers all agree that whatever console or handheld you own, YOU OWN 2010 AS A GAMER. The only loser is your bank account and wallet because they're just so many great games coming out this year.

So if you want to argue to others, how about instead of arguing against other gamers, how about you argue with people who DON'T find gaming as a source of entertainment and those who believe video games are for children and those who think that if you play video games, then you're a nerd. Prove to them about all the great games on the X360 or on the PS3 or on the Wii, whatever. I still await the day when Video Gaming is accepted worldwide as a form of art and proper entertainment like watching Movies. I know news site where when you go to their technology section, there are no games section or when you go to the arts section, there are catagories like Movies, Magazines and TVs but nothing about gaming.

You see, us as gamers don't need list wars. We don't need to see stupid arguments of who has the better exclusives, etc. Us as gamers should be happy and feel granted that 2010 will be a year to remember in Gaming History.

I just needed somewhere to post my frustration somewhere and get it off my mind.

Actually I havent ever heard of The Last Guardian, what is it? 

And although I have a 360 and not a PS3 I think based of what has been shown, the PS Move will work better. The more I consider the Natal 'controller-free' experience the more I think it wont work. Also wondering which sells more between Reach and GT5, probably will b lose (and no I am not trying to start a fanboy argument about it)

WE OWN 2010!

We are LUCKY to have The 13th FANTASY EPIC, A NEW GRAN TURISMO, A NEW HALO, A NEW 3D MARIO, A NEW STARCRAFT, A NEW NINTENDO HANDHELD, A DIFFERENT FORM OF GAMING And like a 100 more fantastic games that I missed out on purpose so that others could list them!!

The Last Guardian is a upcoming PS3 exclusive game. And mate I'm not trying to generalize ALL X360 owners as fanboys but both you and I know that they do exist and they say stuff like that and so do PS and Nintendo fanboys. They just have to ruin the images of Gamers.

I feel offended that you left out the best 2010 platform by far; the PC. This is gonna be a stellar year with Starcraft II, Civilization V, Thief 4, Gothic 4 and more (proper) RPG's than you can shake a stick at and hopefully Half-Life 2: Episode 3!

been a great year for me so far with all the games comming every month and my most aniticpated game has just droped!!!! god of war 3!!

My bad. Dude I'm so hyped for Starcraft II. Just annoyed that I won't be able to play all three campaigns this year... But yeh no one should diss the PC as well.

I have a tendency to try to "tear down" whoever is "winning" at the time. When the Wii is doing great, I am anti-Wii. When the 360 is doing great, I am anti-360. When the PS3 is doing great, I'm anti-PS3. There is a word for this. I think that word is: awesome. Anyway, since "YOU" are winning in 2010, my target is clear. I must target you.
