I agree last year was wrong. I meant last year as the only Nintendo home console. I totally expect a new console to be released next year.

Remember when last year I said that there was probably a new handheld coming out this year because of the lack of 1st party DS games scheduled for 2010. Nintendo is going all in with the Wii this year, I doubt they will have much left for next year.

Next year they have any possible combination of Pikmin 3, Project Sora, any new Intelligent's Systems game, Mario Party 9...that's good enough. 2011 is too early, 2012 is when the next console will release.

Late 2011, i would say, with Dragon Quest X doing something similar to FFXII (coming out very close to it's platform's replacement). If they do push into 2012, it won't be beyond the first half.

Nintendo thats just embarassing as the console with the highest userbase in japan..
3rd partys are the ones to blame, but nintendo has to do something to make them develop more games for wii, the NSMB Wii boost wont last forever

Actually, Wii has more games announced for Q2 than PS3 now. And 360 has more announced that both (lolwtf!).
