yes, both consoles are currently at 15.19M in sales for the Other region. despite the PS3s significant deficit in that region, over the last several months PS3 has beat 360 in sales in the Other region. PS3 has also beaten 360 in total weekly sales for the last 20 weeks (5 months) straight. It seems Natal and Reach cant come out soon enough for MS.

This seems like the dozenth time this has happened on VGChartz. Wake me when it stays there for more than a week or two.

Also who knows how many of that 15.19 are rebuys of broken (red-ringed) x360s (see the game sales of multi-platform games in this region). It's awesome to see a system like the PS3 that spend as long as it did 3rd in this region finally becoming 2nd to the wii.

You mean a price drop can't come out soon enough, right?  Cuz that's what's gonna shift the balance again.  Right now, it's about value, and the PS3 rocks the 360 in that department with having a lot more features for your money.  However, once the Elite models w/HDD installed are cheaper, that shit's gonna get bad for Sony again.  I'm guessing they'll announce it during E3 this year.

I think it's going to take more than a price cut to beat the PS3. Most likely a cut, assuming it's a pretty big one and/or Sony doesn't counter with a small cut of their own, will cause the sales to be on par. Only if Sony drops the ball or Natal is a HUGE hit, will 360 start outpacing the PS3 again in Others. And I really don't see either of the last two things happening.
