NES released in 1983 in Japan, 1985 in NA and 1986 in Europe.
SNES released in 1990 in Japan, 1991 in NA and 1992 in Europe.
Nintendo 64 released in 1996 in Japan & NA and 1997 in PAL.
Gamecube released in 2001 in Japan & NA and 2002 in PAL.
Wii released worldwide in 2006.

I think the next console will be released in 2012, I would say 2011 if the Wii wasn't so successful.
