the real reason ppl think the ps2 will always be ahead of wii is because of games, ps2 had the best its gen and wii has the worst so far its gen but its not going to go on like this forever and ppl don't realize theirs ps3/360 games that flop to like nba2k10, nhl2k10, sega allstar racing and all these games were also released on wii and are outselling both the hdtv console combined on wii and their not the only games or type of games that have the potential to become wii exclusives either thats just 3titles of the top of my head and those games will alone could push a few wii not to mention japan and rpgs..........

Wii's sold better than PS2. It's already at 50% of it's lifetime sales (and let's face it, PS2 ain't going much farther than it is now) in about a third the time. PS2 has never outsold Wii, looking at any relevant generational metric. Open wide, I have some science for you. <3

how soon will the wii pass the ps1? cause I don't see any logic in saying thats not going to happen and I think before wiis 5th year it will happen since we are only 3years and 5months into wiis gen and its at almost 70million so 33million to go and a price cut maybe and some colors and bundles so wii has 19months to pass ps1 then it done what ps1 did in only 5years but probably a few months less...........in this next 7months I think wii will sell 12million so thats 7mil for christmas.........

In my defense, I've dealt with Mazty before. Perhaps you should step off that imaginary pedestal and take a look at his post history?
70+13=83million in 10months till 5years and Im not considering a price cut or bundles this whole year not even novermber or december for my prediction...........
