The first Platinum I ever got was on Demon's Souls. Afterwards, my beloved PS3 broke down, so everything is lost now

I don't know if I'll ever have the courage to re-plat it again...

You wont have to.  Once you log your account back into a PS3 all of your trophy status will load to what you previously had since your account is synced with PSN and your trophy info are stored on your account and not the PS3.

How did I lose my data then?

Maybe because I had lost my saves?

Refering to you attempting to re-plat, if your data is lost it shouldnt effect your trophies since your trophy stats are saved onto your PSN account.  But its unfortunate that your save file is lost.

You can log onto your PSN account on their website and view your trophy status and it should all be there.

@Khuutra
Congrats on your first platinum!! God of War III is a great one to make your first.

My first was Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.

Edit: It's time for you to sign up with the VGChartz trophy league.

^Dam that is a lot of trophies, they put mine to shame..

I'd say I got about 5 games where I'm at 70% or higher where I don't have the platinum, there are just a handful select tough trophies that take too much time to get.

I got my first Platinum the other month there in playing Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time... Had to play the game 4 times to get it since on the 3rd playthrough on what was meant to be hard it never worked so had to start again, was less than impressed as only needed the Hard playthrough trophy lol

Congrats. GoW3 will probably be my 10th Platinum. Gonna play some more in a few mins.

You, uh..... you got a lot of Platinums.

You playing on Titan Mode yet?

Yes. Even if it wasn't required, I'd still be playing on Titan though. I have a habit of always going with the hardest difficulty available when I get a game.

GOW3 was my first platinum too and the only one I've done , but i own the ps3 for about 1 year ago (got 21 games, about 14 with trophies). i just try to make the trophies that I find funny, make the platinum in most games it seems tedious for me xD. but I'm about to take them in MW2 and ucharted 2

in BC2 also I have the majority, but that trophy to do 20 deaths with destriction online does not seem so easy to be a bronze trophy, im at lvl 23 and I've only done about 5 kills with destruction

My only qualm with this game's trophy list is that it doesn't require you to beat Chaos mode to get the Platinum. Why not, GoW3 team? I can beat Chaos Mode! I beat God Mode in the first one and Titan Mode in the scond! I'm tough! I can take whatever you throw at me. Anyone have any idea why they don't require you to beat Chaos mode?

I guess they wanted to make the platinum accessible to more than 1% of GoWIII players. That is understandable. What I don't understand is why the labyrinth trophy is hidden! I played through the game twice to get the platinum (it would have been my first too) but I missed one. Turns out I needed to make it through the whole labyrinth without dying.

How was I supposed to know that without looking it up? Now I'll have to play through pretty much the whole game a third time to get that one trophy >_>

Congratz, I just platinum'd, I love how I turned a noun into a verb, God of War: Collection today. I'm soo happy. :D

But I might chicken-out with God of War 3. Titan mode sounds pretty difficult to beat.

I think they just wanted to make the Platinum attainable in one play through. Since you can't start off on Chaos mode, they didn't require it. That's the way it seems to me anyway.

By the way, Chaos mode is easier than GoW II's Titan mode.

And if you want two easy Plats, definitely pick up GoW Collection. Just buy it, don't rent it. It's so much better than the PS2 counterparts, and it's only like $30.
