Edit: SPeaking of which though, the first company to put out a mobile digital notepad that all it does it let you write on it, will become absolutely rich if priced correctly.

That's what I want. Sitting with a pen and writing digital notes for my classes, and I know for a fact that I won't get a tablet before I find one that will let me do that.

Windows Tablet PC's did this 10 years ago (and still today). It didn't make anyone rich. The technology is called Digital Ink. I sat in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and watched Bill Gates unveil it at Comdex in 2000. It never caught on.

Btw, the $360 million in sales Apple did over the weekend I think they were happy with.

You don't seem to realize that they also did a whole lot other stuff which was not needed and cost several hundreds of dollars. You seem to be a very picky reader today.

So the Apple Tablet is shit because it doesn't do enough, and the Tablet PC is shit because it does to much?

Make up your mind. If all you want it to write on something cheep, buy a paper notepad and a scanner. It does the trick.

There ya go. 79 bucks. Go buy some SolidTek stock, and good luck.

If I get any tablet style PC it will probably be one that runs Android, which will probably be the one that Asus is developing. I have heard there are about 6-10 different tablet PCs that will be running Android.

It's shit because of its price point. If a netbook costs me about $300 and a smartphone about $100, the iPad should be about $200.

I have looked into the pad you mentioned before however and the only reason I didn't get it before is because of complaints of the weird format it uses, it's smaller than normal paper, and the thing about having to use software to transfer notes to other PCs. Their DM-L2 looked a lot better, however that's friken $130, I mean hell I got my smartphone for $100 and it does so much more.
