Breath of Death VII: The Beginning to Hit XBL Indie Games

Independent developer Zeboyd Entertainment has announced that their retro RPG, Breath of Death VII: The Beginning will soon be available for purchase on the Xbox Live Indie Games service. Breath of Death VII hearkens back to the 16-bit RPG era, with old-school graphics and a turn-based combat system. It will retail for 80 Microsoft Points, about $1.00.

The game takes place in a world populated only by undead creatures, devoid of the living. The player will control a party of undead adventurers named Dem the Skeleton Knight, Sara the Ghost Historian, Lita the Vampire Techie, and Erik the Zombie Prince. Notable game features include a quick turn-based combat system that includes multi-character attacks, a "deep yet easy to understand branching level-up system", and a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour behind the story and writing.
