This is actually a tough choice for me. My favourite game of this generation is Demon's Souls, but most of my favourite RPGs this gen is are on the 360 XD

So my vote in the end will go to the 360.

demons souls is the best game this gen it totally refreshed by bored state of mind towards the industry , i just want more games like it all the time . the meshing of coop and vs multiplayer within a single player mode along with the whole spirit forms being visible from time to time (real players) and the whole messaging components.

the game is a masterpiece far beyond what mass effect or any bioware game has done this gen. its like no other game ever made its completely different from mechanics to atmosphere nothing touches it

Mass Effect 1&2 alone would put 360 on top (IMO), but in the near future it looks like the ps3 will outpace it fast.

Also the best is the DS, regardless if it isn't the strongest in terms of WRPG.

That being said I haven't played a lot of RPGs on PS3...
Dragon Age is awesome but it's on both...
So is Fallout 3...

PS3 Has access to a lot of PS1 Rpgs... plus Valkyria Chronicles and it also has some versions of RPGs with more stuff.

I'll just go with my Fanboy instincts and vote for PS3.

I'd give a slight edge to the XBox360. Mass Effect 1 and 2, Lost Odyssey, and for NA and EU, Tales of Vesperia. Hard to beat.

Of course, the PS3 has it's gems like Demon's Souls and Valkyria Chronicles, but the XBox360 still edges it out.

A year ago, it would have been 360 hands down, now I would have to give the edge to the PS3

mm.. 360 has Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey.. PS3 has everything else.. But why no Wii? Muramasa, Super Paper Mario, Tales of Symphonia 2, Fragile Dreams.. And soon to come Tales of Graces, Xenoblade, Last Story, Monster Hunter Tri.. I pick Wii. But between the two selections.. PS3.
