Ugh, I couldn't finish that.

I haven't seen this in the news yet.

Thats terrible... BUT..... I think people need to be careful when attaching the actions of a few military personnel with a whole nation and its people.

It is exactly like calling all muslims terorrists.

I know a few people who have posted in here would abhore anyone generalising in such a way.

I agree, but it does show large problems with the military of the USA. Doesn't show anything wrong with the people of the USA though.

That was awesome! I can't believe they let a video like that get on the internet.

Rained some fire down on those terrorist bastards!

Your an asshole didn't you know that?

Like I said before there could be dozens of situations like this, that haven't been uncovered.

Trigger happy fucks! Hopefully this sends a message to Obama to reform the military and create clear cut goals.

Were there weapons found on the bodies?

Fuck you. You're talking about innocents and children being shot.

It doesn't matter if you're joking it's a horrible thing to say.

They shot because it looked like they were carrying RPG's and weapons.

Technically that shouldn't matter.   Not speaking in this particular case... but if it looks like and you think they have weapons... it shouldn't matter whether they do or not in the end result.

I feel sick now.

Take a look at my photos on flickr

I take issue with how casually they mow down a group of people. They seem incredibly willing to open fire, and act callously once the group of people is killed or wounded by machine gun fire. They are entirely disconnected with the fact they are shooting people, and talk in a manner I would associate more closely with xbox live than actual military combat.

Even if they had guns, does that really mean they should engage? This is Iraq circa 2007, having body guards who carry guns for defense seems entirely normal given the environment.

I really don't know what to say...

I honestly can't believe one of them had said "Well it's their fault for bringing their kids to a battle."
I admit, I can't say much to how they must feel, but I know my entire core would be crushed if I had found out I had done that whether I was cognizant of it at the time or not.

I know I shouldn't wish ignorance, but I really do wish I hadn't seen that.

@Kasz: I agree. I've always thought it weird that the military police operated as a part of the military. I'm curious if it's carried out the same way in other countries...

For the most part yes. It's sadly the same with our government too... who punishes senators? Why other senators.
