I enjoy them if they do it well and make sense in the end, like MGS3. I dislike them when they end up being a contradictary mess, like MGS4.

Actually MGS1 is a great example for a complex but extremely well told story.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Trying to fully understand every aspect of the Meal Gear Solid series has been a hobby of mine

I'm a fan of Metal Gear, so yes.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

And so is MGS4.

Even though MGS43 is my favorite game of all time, it had, at times, terrible storytelling.

i love complex plots, Planescape Torment being the perfect example, as long as they make sense!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

This, Planescape Torment has the best story and writing ever in a videogame.

Now, some games are just convoluted and completely terrible. Xenogears, MGS2 and Xenosaga have terrible writing and mediocre stories. None of those are deep at all.
