A bunch of friends decided to go for some mountain hiking, possibly even towards a big buddhist temple. Well a few hours in, in a valley with a popular spot, I was standing in front of a big map billboard looking figuring out where we were going, and the next thing I know, I'm in the air, then the ground, then stumbling around shouting "holy sh#t I got hit by a car", then woozy. According to the cops the driver hit the gas instead of the breaks. She rammed in to the bill board and totaled her car. If I'd been standing a foot to the right or closer to the bill board I probably would have been killed. As it is, x-rays and ct scan checked out ok, though I've got to go back to a hospital tomorrow to get checked again (at a hospital where some of the staff speak better English!)

Yea. I was riding a bike.
There was this crossing where a car was waiting at. This old lady was walking over and the moment she stepped on the curb, the car started. I tried to ride over right after then BAM hit me. Nothing happened to me though, my knee hurt a little for few hours, but thats about it. And I guess my bike (bicycle) had some new curves

No, i've never been hit by a car like that, it would take some weird thing like that to hit me because I'm super paranoid about crossing the streets.
Ugh. It's hard to sleep with banged up knees (I need a body pillow right now). As soon as my partner puts the pics up on facebook, I'll show you what happened to the van. From what my friends pieced together, she hit me with the front right bumper, shooting me off to the side as she plowed in to the billboard. She hit my legs and threw me up in a backflip causing me to land on my knees, arm and right side of my forehead. And my exact words the moment I hit the ground and jumped to my feet were "I JUST GOT HIT BY A FU&%ING CAR!"
Sadly, My sunglasses and Raphael Ninja turtle cellphone charm are both ruined...

They tend to make a joke about it saying my head dented the car bonnet, where I had no injuries on.
