Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo throws FlingSmash for June

Right, but it just seems strange that many months there is not a single first party release big or small, and this time there will be 3 in one month.

This is a game design I imagined way back when the Wii was just launching, I pictured it in first person though.  I'm not sure about this game, it doesn't seem to have the usual Nintendo polish yet.

It shows what Nintendos idea of value actually means. They don't hesitate to ask less for a game if they game doesn't have as much content. Its one reason why I like them, they don't insult our intelligence!

Tease.

Too much games to buy, but, $30 is a good price.

I waiting for this game ^^ looks a hell lot of fun.

Now what comes after e3 ? ALL FIRST PARTY GAME for the first Q in 2 months ? Nintendo you are scaring the shi*** of me ...

GO PATS! 2012 THE YEAR OF NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS'S 4TH SUPER BOWL!

A patriot to the end. GO PATS!

Now playing> THE LAST STORY (Wii) Best RPG I EVER PLAYED. *-*

While I'd normally agree with you... I'd always thought this was an upcoming Wiiware game. 30 bucks seems pretty steep to me. Am I the only one that thinks this looks Wiiware-y?

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Well $15 Wiiware with $10 contents/packaging/shipping and about 20% retailer markup is about $30.

Then... wouldn't it make more sense to make it Wiiware? I admit I don't know much about the game outside of the video, but is there a reason this isn't a downloadable title?

Is it bundled with WM+? If not, people must be in the store to buy that as well if they don't have it already.

Also, in terms of Wiiware, I don't even think Nintendo's first party titles have skyrocketed with sales. As mentioned in a previous thread like yesterday (I think the official Flowerworks thread), RETAIL is Nintendo's ace in the hole, and what they do best. $30 is high enoughso it doesn't look like shovelware, but low enough to make accepting the title easier.
