i've heard of this BD-J on java community, it's part of the java micro edition.
from what i see, it's capable of even using java.net package.
and by the means of open door is it the "Optional Storage" function that it has?and isn't this technology is already out in 2008?i've heard Sony itself support this BD-J.

yea the great thing is the homebrew can be launched straight from within side the XMB like you can any other Application!
that's what make's it very cool' no need to have a seperate partition for Java it take's out quite a bit of the hassle.
