'Tis a glorious day. Sony has hit a nice milestone

now if they can get all those ps3 owners to buy more than 3.89 games a piece come on 4!

Congrats With upcomming games like FF Versus 13, GT5, MGSR and plenty more, they have a good shot at doing well over 8 million in Japan LT... hell, IMO not even 10 million is not out of question if they play their cards right

It's funny how they do the attach rate. Why not just round up? It's not like you can break apart a game into a .89 piece and play only that part of the game. Or can you?

Japanese attach ratios are low, i believe its because os the region where is most common people buying more than one of the same console.

They'll easily reach 10 mil, its took just over 4 years to reach 5 mil, 2 of those years the PS3 was way more expensive. If there another price drop later this year or next year they should do another 5 mil in 3 years or so.

So long as the games keep rolling.

I believe PS3 got one of the best comebacks ever (in terms of sales).

How far do we think they can get in Japan?

GT5 should move a few consoles!

Could get to 15 million, depends how long Sony wants to ride the PS3, if its 8 or 9 years then its likely.

I think it'll get to around 12 million.

They need a mainline Dragon Quest game.
