Lol good question... ask ioi. I only selected MS published games as I did with Sony.

| Joelcool7 said: Currently, No! Why do I say no? Well the PS3 and PSP are both tanking sales wise even the best PS3 games barely pass a million units. The PlayStation brand is recovering from its weakest point in the history of the brand. The only way Sony could create a big franchise as big as Gran Turismo is if they had the bigger hardware base to support such hard software sales. I think Sony had a chance to build big brands like that back on the PSOne and PS2 but they failed to create anything ground breaking. I think if they had retained Spyro and Crash they might have been able to build them into big franchises then look at Jak and Ratchet both excellent franchises that if Sony had dealt with them properly could have become bigger franchises. But Sony never establishes big brands. Now that Sony has the much smaller support base I doubt they can make another huge franchise that big. Maybe next generation! |
You are aware that the PS3 is closer in weekly sales to the Wii than it is to the 360 right? The PSP may be tanking, but the PS3 is performing extremely well atm.
LOLWUT?!??! That is hilarious. Have you not seen Uncharted 2 break 3 million units recently? Just like its predecessor. Or how about Resistance 2 around the 1.75 million mark, with its predecessor close to 3.7 million. God of War 3 broke 1 million in a week. LittleBigPlanet has sold over 3 million copies. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue? MotorStorm? Heavy Rain broke 1 million in 6 weeks and it is an incredibly niche title, apparently. What about the "biggest flop of all time" KillZone 2 with over 2.2 million in sales? Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction and inFamous?
I'm sorry, but after those 2 statements, it's incredibly hard to take you seriously.
