God of War Collection. Especially if you haven't played them on PS2. You'll play 2 of the best games of all time and all you'll pay is 10 bucks.

I have to ask, why bother making a "which is the best" or "which should I get" poll on VGChartz that includes MGS4? It's like a poll that says "Which do you prefer: 1. Breathing 2. Suffocating". Wonder which one will win?

OT: Batman and it's not even close, UNLESS you're a huge MGS fan and dislike Batman, then MGS4.

Batman is a billion times better than all that other crap. And if you like Metroidvania games, it's a trillion times better.

They're all good choices. If you've played MGS 1-2-3 then 4 is a no-brainer.
If you haven't I will have to go with GoW collection bec you get way more bang for you buck compared to the others and are both brilliant games.

Also, it depends on what sort of genres you love. If you're not into hack-n-slash (shame) then Batman is a good choice.

I started MGS with 4. Then I had to buy the others because I just had to know the story. I played MGS1 when I was younger for a few min, I sucked and didn't like it. But I enjoyed it alot after I played 4.

MGS4 is BY FAR the best game on the PS3, and by far the best game on that list. But if you know absolutely nothing about MGS, do not get it.. I fear that you wont enjoy it..

Honestly go with the GOD OF WAR COLLECTION, BATMAN is amazing, but the god of war games are much better, then later on you can get GOD OF WAR III which is up there with MGS4.

The only game I can recommend is Batman. MGS4 sucked imo, too bad as I LOVE (I repeat, LOVE!!!!) MGS1. The rest of the games on the list were just kind of average to me. Batman AA was my second favorite game last year (beaten only slightly by Dragon Age: Origins, the best RPG of the generation).

No. I have never played any of the MGS series.

Unfortunately a lot less than I would like.

With work, family, and school (until August) I can only put in a couple hours every few nights once everyone is asleep and I've performed my husbandly duties. ;)
