Well its true that Microsoft has some what of a vested interest in PC gaming also cause of a little thing they have called Windows. But the 360 and pc and different gaming experiences also. 360 is meant to be played in the living room and with friends whereas its hard to play on a computer with a bunch of your friends. Also you need a really really nice computer to play most of the 360 related ports. Most people dont. I have a 4 year old lap top and no it would crash if I stuck Gears of War in it.

Anyways, my point was, that the hate fuels the fire. Halo would be nothing without the haters today. We all know Metal Gear Solid is perfect in every possible way and all games should stirive to be exactly like it because of its perfection, but it doesnt mean other games also cant have success.

I (personally) am not that big of a fan of Metal Gear Solid, and I think that few people would ever claim that it was perfect in every way ...

(In fairness, part of this decline is attributable to the fact that he has gradually spent more and more time on plastic surgery and just being a one-man freak show ... but still.)

P.S. Michael Jackson is actually a real humanitarian; apparently he's given over $300 MILLION to charity. But he's got serious mental issues and needs help that no one seems to be providing, which is really terrible and sad.

Popularity and hype can blind people from the obvious flaws in things and make them think all others are crap. 

For example, UTIII on PC got an 8.5 from IGN. Did it deserve it, hell no, but after playing a game like Crysis of course they will look at most games that doesnt natively support DX10 with shame.  Plus all the hype put behind Crysis even blinded IGN because the game might be beautiful but its a far cry from being at Battlefield's (their own franchise) level of fun.

If that sounds stupid, it's because it should.  And it does so for the very same reason your above post does.

eugene, not only do you have your causality backward, but you failed to state the correct console.
If any console and its games get the most hate, that can only be the Wii.
And most of the time, the hate comes from XB360 owners, sometimes from PS3 owners.
Game reviewers have a lot of hate for it too.
I'm just amazed it manages to sell so well with so much hate, that you can see up to the reviews, which are all over the place: the reviewers just have no shame in saying they fail at gaming, as long as it's gaming on the Wii. That just shows you the level of hate they get.
While every game on the XB360, even the worst ones, get good reviews score, in contradiction with the review itself sometimes.
So relax, you clearly don't have the most hated console, as it's the most loved, especially in NA, so stop this red herring.
