If you like Excite truck you should check out Excite Bots, it's very similar but way better.  You've already gotten a lot of game recommendations this thread but I'm gonna go ahead and say it: buy NMH2! It's better than the first yet it's struggling in sales!

I got a Wii as well today man. :D Will be getting a hold of No More Heroes soon (the first one. I don't want to be spoiled by jumping straight to the second one). Some of my friends are laughing at me for getting a Wii, saying I should have went with a PS3 (I think I will get one eventually anyway. It's not like the PS3 is gonna get retired anytime soon and I wanted the Wii more so I went with the Wii). I keep telling them that the Wii has a fucking awesome library but haters gonna hate. It's all about big-budget AAA blockbusters to these kind of gamers. But honestly, the big-budget AAA blockbusters aren't necessarily the most fun. Just because a game doesn't score 90+ or 80+ on metacritic (and as you know, the Wii has the least amount of 90+ and 80+ games on metacritic) and doesn't have high HD-level production values, doesn't mean it sucks.

Are you enjoying Metroid? Most of the people don't....

Say again? And you say this based on what? Some don't (as happens with any game), but to the best of my knowledge most do or there wouldn't be so many people recommending it.

And OT: congrats! By the way, regarding NSMBWii, it's most fun played with other people (imo at least). Three or four players is hilarious, after you overcome the urge to get angry with your co-players every time they make you fail and start laughing about it.
