Well RE5 was an action genre type. No more horror or whatsoever which I actually felt disappointed.

Other than that the game was fun to play and had one of the most ridiculous but memorable scenes(You probably know what I'm talking about).

Thank you for finally saying it's good. Every time I ask if it's good straight up, a bunch of people say its bad. But it's truly fun. specially in co-op

RE5 was awesome.
Best TPS co-op game available on any system.
Also was one of my GOTY contenders of 2009.

I just wish that you didn't have to beat the entire game just to get Mercenaries Mode.
I have played that WAY longer than I ever did the campaign.

resident evil 5 was very good, actually is a lot better than re4, imo.

Also, if you claim that you do not like RE5, try the arcade mode. It is flawless, and very addictive. I sometimes cannot stop, always thinking to myself, "ok, one game only lasts about 6-10 minutes, I can sneak another one in before 10pm." 11:30 rolls by... "Ok, If I do this correctly, I should complete it with an A rating in 12 minutes and be in bed before 12." 1:15 rolls by...."GODDAMN ZOMBIES! MOTHER NATURE SELECTED YOU FOR DEATH, JUST DIE ALREADY!!!" throws controller on the floor and goes to bed...thinking about strategy for the next 45 minutes.

The complaint (as I understand it, and certainly MY complaint) is not that it is a bad game. The complaint is that it is now just another shooter game instead of the survival horror we all love. If Capcom had made the game under the name 'shoot teh badguys for teh lulz' I suspect it would receive nothing but praise

OT: You're preachin' to the choir me boy, my personal GOTY 2009. Played it 8 times, 8 frickin times! I've never played a game that much not named Diablo, KOTOR or Final Fantasy.

I dont think people dislike it beacause its bad, cuz its not, but because our expectations were through the roof

Dude the game was great and the visuals are fantastic even still today!!

I hated Other than the less Horror Approach, was the the stop feature that seemed to happen when you would shoot, IT SUCKS!!

Fix that, Add more Scary Situations and you have a hit for RE6 Capcom!!
