I think it will sell well for a Metroid game, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, here.
This is really an exciting year for Wii owners. Who knows what they got up their sleeves for the second half.
It looks freakingly amazing. And I love it's 3rd person rather than 2D side scrolling.
Them showing a gameplay video for the first time today is probably due to the fact that today is the last day of the current Fiscal Year.
I fully expect more media from games like Xenoblade, The Last Story, Fling Smash, SMG2, etc soon.

Just saw it... man that looks incredible. I LOVED the first Metroid Prime; it's one of my favorite games of all time, but the sequels lost a lot of the luster for me because they were just too similar. I for one am really glad they went this route this time. And the cinematics are superb. Very stylized.
