No big surprises on the list really. The Zelda and Mario games in top 10 was expected.

Wow 6 of the top 10 games on IGN for all time are Nintendo games. Quite impressive.

But no fucking way Civ II beats out Zelda: OOT. Or Tetris for that matter. I can agree with the #1 but OOT should be #2. I think Super Mario Bros is the only game that I could ever be content with being above OOT.

I'm confused, Kingdom Hearts isn't #1?

Bad points about the list:
-There are no Max Payne, Diablo or Morrowind in the IGN top100, making the list instant FAIL.
-Kotor and Shadow of the Colossus are WAY too high. Really, how the hell can Kotor and SotC compete against Fallout, Baldur's Gate 2 and Planescape: Torment?
-Planescape: Torment is also way too low on the list, it deserves to be closer to the top.
-And it's appalling how Deus Ex and Grim fandango did not make into the top20, or even top30. They both were on top30 last time.
-RE4 is a great game, but does NOT deserve to be top10 or even top20 Imo.
-Lack of a Monkey Island game is disturbing.

Good points about the list:
-The fact that they reserved FF6 as the best Final Fantasy (may be very old, but it still has the best story/characters of the series), followed by FFIV, which also has perhaps the second best story. However I don't think FF6 deserves to be so high in the list.
-They tried to blend in Home Console/PC games with Handheld games, and it came out sort of ok.
-Chrono trigger is at a respectable position.
-No Oblivion, a right choice(but then they left out Morrowind too)
