No matter what Andy does from now on the guy has Smeagol/Gollum on his resume now. He'll get over paid. Keanu Reeves too. Because of the Matrix no matter what that guy does now he'll make more than he should (but andy is more talented)

Also its 750k for 1 hour of work. Andy did a whole lot more than that

And Andy isn't a big name. I'm pretty sure the guy who played the Treant or whatever isn't getting money left and right either.

More people still know Steve Blum than Andy Serkis.

More anime fans and nerds know Steve Blum than Andy Serkis.

Heck Bruce Cambell could probably outdraw Serkis on salary.

Do you think the guy who played Gimle is suddenly getting way overpayed to do roles?

Which is actually my point.  Neither is Serkis.  Who has had one supporting role in a big movie.  Someone like Cambell who's been everywhere.  I doubt the average consumer if just given a line of Bohan's would even be able to draw the connection.  Blum or Bruce Cambell though.  Bingo.

The people who hired him know. And its in the videos in the game. So whoever plays 1 video after unlocking it would know too. You're the one being ridiculous. You want an example of 1 movie launching someones career? Tom Cruise - Top Gun. He was a nobody but that movie made 350 million and after that he started getting paid millions per role. AND TOP GUN WASNT AS BIG AS LOTR

The point is if you want smeagol youre going to pay a premium. Youre deluding yourself if you think actors dont get over paid.

BTW - They got him after the trilogy was released. If they did the same game now when the hype of the movie is long gone he'd probablly make less. Fact is he made a good deal of money on HS youre deluding yourself that he didn't

Actors get overpaid.  Andy doesn't.

Is it seriously your contention that the reason Andy hasn't seen any career boost for LOTR is because he's holding out for higher money?

He's playing Albert Einstein in a freaking made for TV movie.  How much do you think he got paid for that?
