Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft Hate story at Wal-Mart

Went to a 24 hr Wal-Mart to purchase Mass Effect. There was a group of small children playing Rock Band in front of the glass case were the game was. So I went to one of the Videogame associates and asked if I could purchase Mass Effect. This Idiot nerd with glasses rolls his eyes and walks off with an attitude while he goes to get keys to open the 360 game display case. As he opens the case he proceeds to question me on my purchase of the 360. So I preach the gospel on how I actually wanted a console that has games that I like to play. He says the PS3 has good games and were selling them for $499 on black friday.

I said so what, just give me my game and I'll be on my way.

He says, ya know at least Sony doesn't promote games with lesbian scenes in them,

My wife who was standing right next to me proceeds to ask me why there's a lesbian scene in Mass Effect. I had to explain to her right in front of this FckTard that Mass Effect is not porn. To make a long story short I brought the game and went back to the video associate while my wife was shopping in another part of the store, and made him swear not to ever embarass me again in front of my peoples. Videogame resallers should start screening their employees for fanboyism.

And it another reason brick and mortar resale stores are less and less popular every day.

Thank god for Currys and Dixons in the Uk, the staff there barely know how to put one foot in front of the other let alone have an opinion :P

YfzinJ - I'm not sure if that is a jab at Walmart's Lax return policy, or just an inability to read.

Should have asked him about FFX-2.

Kudos to you for sticking up to that a**hole. The audacity...What does he care wether there is some "lesbian sex" in that game? Is he some religious fanatic? Is God in his mind a Sony fanboy? ;)

Yeah man, that dude was a total a-hole! On what grounds does this loser judge a

man of your caliber (lol)? Seriously, lesbian or not, who cares!

@Eastwood

LOL God is a sony fanboy? haha

God From the Machine

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

That's exactly what I thought too. Pathetic.
