Have you ever broken a video game, console, or controller? Perhaps, by purpose, because you were angry? Perhaps, by accident, because you were foolish? I haven't. Have you? Share your stories.

i tried to break my n64 controller all the time when i was angry (smashbros/dk64(last boss), but it never did break!
(NOT MAKING A POT SHOT HERE!!!) We've accidentally broken 1 xbox 360, I've ripped apart an old ps2 because the tray was giving me problems after like 3 years of constant use lol. I will say when it comes to consoles durability and strength though, good ol Ninty wins that one hands down xD, we've had our gamecube fly off our entertainment center SOOOOOO many times due to controller wire pulls and the thing worked rock solid :D
From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.
I have a SNES controller that had its cord gradually pulled out of the controller over a long period of time until it stopped working. I don't really think it should count though since it wasn't a single act of destruction.
I know a guy, though, who gets frustrated when playing games, and he's a very physical guy. So he's actually destroyed Playstation controllers by gripping them too tight and cracking them apart. (Not the sturdy Nintendo controllers, though!) And he's destroyed controllers by throwing them into walls or by throwing them and yanking the cord out of the controller (not sure which, I just know throwing was involved).

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia. Thanks WordsofWisdom!
I would say that my SNES was the most durable. I never had a single problem in nearly ten years of use. My Nintendo had the common tray spring failure (easily fixed by jamming something in over the cartridge). My Xbox started to have disk drive failures after I already had my 360, but worked like a charm until it realized I was not going to play on it anymore. My 360? Well, two RRODs later I am hoping that my last incarnation does better than its two predecessors.
The only things I've ever had break were one of my dualshock 2 controllers (wire came loose). My 3rd party n64 controllers and a few CD rom discs. I've also lost alot of cables and power cords which upsets me because I can't play my sega anymore.
I had a orange gamecube controller that i accidently dropped off my apartment stairs.
Wasn't a pretty site.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
My friend had a tv fall on his Wii. Three times. Still works like a charm though. And I've definitely tried to pull apart, slam on the ground, and throw controllers out of rage. Nothing broken though.

I've taken out 2 mice and a keyboard due to their mistakes while I was playing an online FPS, that was a few years ago now, my new ones are far better behaved.
