Its so easy to name some:
1. Modern Warfare 2 - This broken piece of shit game only sold well because its the sequel to the best shooter game this gen. It has so many problems and Activision is too busy counting their money and releasing overpriced DLC to fix it. Commando anyone?
2. Motorstorm - 3.52 million for an average racing game. It only sold this well b/c it was a launch title.
3. Resident Evil 5 - This game sucked hard. Like I'm no fan of the RE series but even I can tell it wasn't as good as RE4
4. Any yearly sports games. Mainly Madden, FIFA and PES. Its the same game with just a few minor tweaks and a roster update.
5. Any Guitar Hero game doesn't deserve to sell any copies.
6. Any of the crappy LEGO games. I can't believe LEGO Star Wars sold 1.19 million on PS3, not sure the 360 sales.
7. Wii party games/3rd party shovelware. Self explanatory
8. Halo ODST - You can call me a troll or whatever but this game should have been a $30 or $40 add on to Halo 3, not a full $60 retail game. It had like what a 3 or 4 hour campaign and firefight mode? What a rip-off. (not as big a rip as the $15 stimulus package). Halo 3 deserves its sales, but not ODST.
9. Left4Dead 2. It came out barely a year after Left4Dead 1 and to me it didn't look that different than the first. A short new campaign, a couple new modes, new characters/guns/enemies. They could have just as easily released a bunch of DLC instead of a full new game.
10. Wii workout games, including Wii Fit - self explanatory
11. NSMBW - Isn't it just the DS version ported to the Wii? Damn anyone who bought it got taken for $50 (or whatever a wii game costs). I'm not saying its bad, don't get me wrong, but its an old port.
12. GT5 Prologue - I love Gran Turismo and I will buy GT5 on day 1, but come on people its a $40 demo. I know it has more content than any crappy Need For Speed game, but its not a full game. Only reason I have it is I bought it used for $20.
