Julius Caesar

Genghis Khan (He wasn't all bad, his kinda like the Kratos of recent history)

C. S. Lewis + J.R.R Tolkien + J.K. Rowling (If you guessed that I liked fantasy, you guessed right)

Guglielmo Marconi (If you reeaalllyyy think about it, he kinda invented the internet.. or at least umm)

Oh, Marconi, that's a really good one. So often overlooked, yet he has probably effected mankind in the 20th as much as anyone else on this list.

I honestly couldn't think of anyone who has had a larger effect on this century, his definitely overlooked though compared to someone like John Logie Baird. If I was going to mention someone who contributed to science in terms of greater significance though I'd probably say Wilhelm Rontgen, only because I think medicinal is more important than communication (But that was last century ). Ignore me, I talk to much...

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Is she still popular in the UK?

Because most people don't know her here.

Well she is still relatively popular considering she died over 10 years ago.

But her popularity back then was pretty much unmatched, this country almost literally came to a stand still the day she died.....her funeral saw one of the biggest TV viewing ever (even around the globe) at the time.

I remember my parents were realy upset.....so was I, it was a horrible day.....and such a shock.

Many people call her overrated & she probably was but at the time it had big effects on people.

John Adams, and insert guys who's name I can't remember.

I took an astronomy class in collage, and my professor told us about a very early astronomer. He said this man thought the world was flat, and sitting in a cylinder. That the cylinder had holes in it, and rotated around us, and on the outside of the cylinder was fire. This is why the sun was hot, and the starts sparkled at night.

He said this even though this man was wrong about everything, he was the most significant astronomer ever, because he was the first person to not think the world was the way it was because "god made it that way". He looked for a logical explanation. He was the creator of science.

I forget his name, but that guy.

More people in the USA watched her funeral than watched Michael Jackson's funeral. So she was pretty popular...

Pelé? I dont think there are men that are that great, none in the list fully convince me and many people mentioned arent really relevant to most countries.

Isaac Newton? There are some people that have influenced the whole world.

Yeah, but is he the greatest man who ever lived? I cant say.
