When does fiscal year 2011 for Sony end?...by then, how many PS3s will have been sold worldwide, you think?

Microsoft has never "killed" sony, as sony has always been well ahead of microsoft..

now for the PS3.. I doubt a $50 cut will affect the sales war between the 360 and PS3, because if you aren't completely biased, and look at SALES TRENDS in the past, once a console hits $199 most of its sales come from the $199 price point, A price cut after that, will not have a HUGE effect on sales..

Nah course not, It's like the PS2, everyones original console has died on them so they are having to buy another! :0P

define comeback?

its selling much better than it was and outselling the 360 weekly sales wise, given where it was, that is a comeback of sorts.

its still 3rd and being outsold by the Wii though, so I guess it depends how ambitious your definition of a "comeback" would be.

J-oel if 360 dropped to $150 right how all hell would break loose.

$150 is the sweet spot for everyone who doesn't own a next gen system.

$199 is and always has been the sweet spot..

the 360 is already near $150 in Europe and Japan, and even less.. and all hell is not breaking loose.

Its $130 this entire month in canada.

199$ it is. 360 been on sale at 99$ and 150$ a few times already.

You can get a 360 elite with HALO ODST, FORZA MOTOSTPORT3, for $249 at gamestop this month too
