Microsoft has never "killed" sony, as sony has always been well ahead of microsoft..

now for the PS3.. I doubt a $50 cut will affect the sales war between the 360 and PS3, because if you aren't completely biased, and look at SALES TRENDS in the past, once a console hits $199 most of its sales come from the $199 price point, A price cut after that, will not have a HUGE effect on sales..
