lol so was one of my friends He got devastated byt hat & then me with Episode 3 around 6 months after LOTR:ROTK came out. I guess its only human nature to get that "involved"....and the depression thingy only lasts a few days! Besides you have The Hobbit to look forward what do I have? nothing at the moment & they make it worse by releasing silly Star Wars cartoon movies! @gamings_best I know but it can't be worse than that Clone Wars Movie :( |
KOTOR 3!
Only with movies because there so brief yet amazing.
With games, almost never for me, unless its beyond epic.

oh god will that game ever come out!
@seraphic
which movies?
I got it a little after beating GOW3. Wasn't so much an empty feeling... I just couldn't think of anything to do after that. Didn't feel like playing any other PS3 games, didn't feel like watching TV/Movies, didn't feel like going to sleep, and it was 4 A.M. so there were not too many places I could have gone.
I've had it for multiple games. I can't remember most specific games, but two I can remember off the top of my head are Dragon Quest VIII and Muramasa: The Demon Blade.
Basically, I think it comes from when I've been so much in the 'groove' of the game that I feel I don't want it to end. But I've also had it at times when I've just spent so much time on a good game, I feel like I can't quit it because its become a routine to play (although a good routine). I had this for games like Dragon Quest VIII, Suikoden III and recently Zelda: Wind Waker.
But it can also happen when I'm playing a really good game, but its just too short.
Yes...God of War 3, MGS4 and soon to be The Last Guardian. But if you really liked the game, you will be playing them twice or thrice!
Sort of an empty feeling, but also a feeling of fulfillment, especially for the longer and more challenging games like Fallout 3 or Dragon Age. But then I usually just move on to another game so there's really not much of a void.
i got an empty feeling while i was beating uncharted 2 i was disappointed with its sp
nah it doesnt seem to happen to me i never rush through games in fact i do the opposite
