I think it happened after FFX and DQVIII.

But it happens to me a lot more with movies.

Don't remind me

Star Wars Episode 3

Most amazing movie ever!

And then a depression for days onwards.....even watching it again on DVD never brings back the feeling of seeing it for the first time in the packed theatre!

Where is Episode 7?!

lol

That's crazy how one can get involved and then crushed in something that is meant to entertain.

I was devastated after the third Lord of the Rings llol

But at least they still make LotR games!!

as much as I would love a ep.7, but they would destory it dude, but in my opinion

LoTR > Star Wars ep. 1+2 just ruined it for me.

Yeah. Then I go around talking to people who eventually say the same thing.

I want mah sequels.

Happened to me after beating skies of arcadia, Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 9, and chrono trigger. I guess it's in the characters i get really used to them, and then suddenly they are gone D: -sniffles-

If it ends with a cliffhanger, yes.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

lol so was one of my friends

He got devastated byt hat & then me with Episode 3 around 6 months after LOTR:ROTK came out.

I guess its only human nature to get that "involved"....and the depression thingy only lasts a few days!

Besides you have The Hobbit to look forward

what do I have? nothing at the moment & they make it worse by releasing silly Star Wars cartoon movies!

@gamings_best

I know but it can't be worse than that Clone Wars Movie :(

There are some games that should never end :(

My suggestion?

Play World of Warcraft.

I have felt this with many games.

Wind Waker

Twilight Princess

Mass Effect

Mass Effect 2

Morrowind

Call of Duty

Halo: Combat Evolved

Half-Life

Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2: Episode 1

Half-Life 2: Episode 2

Portal

Super Mario Bros.

Donkey Kong 64 (I never actually beat it though)

If we consider Table Top gaming, I've had several sessions of D&D that I felt this way with.

And if we consider movies, then Heavy Rain (kidding guys, seriously).

oh totally, for MGS4 & FF13 (and some older FF's)

you just wanna see the characters in more situations and you wann see more stuff with them, especially if you love the main characters.

Hoping for a MGS5 & FFXIII-2

@smooth criminal

I dunno I just can't get the hang of having to pay monthly :(
