was checking through the slides on  xbl and i saw a video about transformers 3 being confirmed and its release date for 2011, and the 2 new actors joining the cast. also the 7 different locations that the movie is going to be shot are also named for anyone who is curious.

this makes me very happy i love the series and really enjoyed each movie more than the previous one, i know alot of ppl didnt like the last movie on this site or on the internet in general. but for a transformers huge fan like myself and my wife, this is great news.

I also love the series. I just hope they'll calm down on the action though.

Boutros - I hope they increase the action. That was the saving grace og Transformers 2

soriku - Transformers 2 was utter crap. They could have cut out the entire first half and any scene with Shia or Megan and it would have been a more enjoyable experience

Nope. What made the first Transformers so awesome was the memorable few actions scenes. They were very well made and the CGI was breathtaking.

I never found the same feeling in Transformers 2 due to the overdose of special effects. They wanted to do too much and it didn't felt as polished.

Why is this good news? Hell, I saw the first movie, and it was already too dumb for me to consider the second. And the second is supposed to be much, much worse. What's the point of some cheesy action (with good CGI) when the movie still sucks? Gee, some of you are the reason why the Star Wars prequels are the way they are. Feel the shame!
