Not bad, not bad at all. EU disappoints as always with most RPGs with a 3k opening though. Let's hope it isn't overtracked.

For the record, in NA Eternal Sonata (made by the same devs as Fragile) 360 had a 22k opening and on the PS3 it had a 9k opening (although this was just a late port...)

Lately EU disappoints with everything that is "non-casual" on the Wii, not just RPGs.

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

wow indeed, 20k is pretty bad. At this rate Xseed is going out of business. It wouldn't surprise me if it was overtracked in NA.

lol, you must not have seen XSeed's other game sales.

But oh well, it's just you trolling as usual...

if stating the truth is trolling, then so be it. Xseed's other game sales for the Wii are pathethic as well; *looks at sky crawlers: innocent aces*. They're changing their strategy and focusing on the psp, don't expect much support from them anytime soon. They're going out of business if they don't get turn it around.

Oh come on, XSeed's games don't sell that much at all yet they're staying afloat fine. They even thought Rune Factory Frontier's sales were fine and that only sold 80k with less than half the opening of Fragile. They're not the dev of Fragile so that cuts down a huge amount of costs and Fragile isn't as long as Rune Factory so it might've cost less overall to bring it over. They should make money.

How much money do you think they wasted on licensing the game alone? Namco sure aren't cheap, and aren't known to let others localize their games...... This game is a bomb, you can spin it however you want. The game won't make them money, it will struggle to even get to 150k WW, which is pathetic.

Namco are really only anal about Tales games who they've never let another company publish...other smaller devs have localized their other games fine, especially when it's a new IP.

If you accept this game is a bomb (for XSeed) you'd have to consider their other games that they published bombs as well as they haven't sold a whole lot better than this. And like I said, they were happy with RFF sales only at 80k and a lower opening than Fragile...

Of course they were happy, it was their highest sellin game!! LOL, which is still is kinda sad, even more sadder is that the developers went out of business!!!, really i don't see how the money on that one. If you think that by being a publisher by selling less than 150k units you earn profit, i don't know what to tell you.

Don't worry!

I'll help with its legs

The RFF devs didn't go out of business...you're thinking of Cing who made LKS.

Not every game will earn a profit at 150k if you're just a publisher but in the games XSeed publishes I don't see why that's hard to believe. Why is it that they were happy about RFF selling 80k but somehow Fragile which will likely sell more is an exception?

and LKS story was their highest selling published game if i'm not mistaken, on par with RFF. Cing went ouf of business. If you still think they made money, well i'm gonna start my own publishing company, because according to you the break-even point on Wii games is unrealistically LOW.

Yeah, me to! The game got delayed in Sweden and then I had to cancel my preorder due to money problems so I won't get it until the next week or so.

This is great news for XSeed though, isn't it? Unless XSeed and Rising Star Games (the publisher of the Eu version) are the same company?
