Microsoft set for two E3 Press Conferences

Microsoft have today confirmed that they are to hold two Press Conferences at this years E3 event, one that is specifically set to be focussed on Natal device and the other presumably to focus entirely on the Xbox 360 itself.

According to Geoff Keighley, “Xbox just sent out a save the date for TWO E3 press conferences. Natal on Sunday night, June 13. 360 on Mon Morning, June 14.”

Alongside this he further notes, “Most interesting: Natal briefing is for “all ages,” the 360 briefing is for “18+.” Guess that means no M-rated Natal games….”

With 2010 certainly shaping up to be a big year for Microsoft and its Xbox 360 console, eyes certainly seem to be fixed on some big announcements set to be made and whether the rumoured Xbox 360 Slim will make an appearance.

What this tells us, is that MS has a lot more than Natal to show off.  Very good news.

It's kinda silly that their 360 show is being stated as 18+. I mean there are plenty of 360 owners who don't think Natal is the only way to enjoy the 360 without M-rated games. Oh well I suppose. E3 definitely going to be big this year.

Pretty interesting. Lots of stuff to discuss obviously, but this is sorta a precedent as I can't recall Nintendo or Sony having 2 press conferences with handheld & home console.

if we assume they are two 1.5hr conferences, 3 hours would just be too long to sit through. Also, considering they want everyone to see Natal, I can see why they separated out their M rated content into a different presentation.

sounds good to me, the better games the happier I am. Can't wait for this tears E3, I think everyone has some tricks up there sleeves . It will be a great E3.
