We are back with round 8 of the competition. This time the subject is collectables. Items that may or may not have relevance to the plot. I will be voting again and after changing my initial vote I vote for the Chozo Artifacts. The Chozo's created these artifacts to secure the poison (which is Phazon) beneath an impact crater, which was where it landed. These artifacts were spread across Tallon IV, so that at some point a warrior would unlock the impact crater and destroy Phazon. The artifacts were cunningly placed, many of which were difficult to find. The artifacts managed to block out the corruption of Phazon and replace it with tranquillity and hope. It is very rare to have items in games that leave you mesmerized.

2d metroids try to collect all the missiles the energy tanks and bombs theres no other games where collectables are fun and challenging like dat

I always enjoyed the masks in Legend of Zelda : Majora's Mask. I know that a lot of them (most) were pretty much useless, but a lot of them really fit into the story quite well like the postman's hat and the couple's mask. Majora's Mask was great and possibly better than Ocarina (blasphemy I know). It just always gets overshadowed by its predecessor.

Anyways, Zelda for the masks in Majora's, plus the heart pieces usually can be quite fun and challenging to find. Zelda always has fun collectibles to find it is staple of franchise.
