Wow....you don't know much about Japan at least socially from what I am seeing here dude. Their buying habits are more nationalistic than the westerner who will buy anything that is quality. The only way a Japanese will buy a western product is if it totally outclasses their own or they don't have anything like it. (IE: The Ipod)

there is no way to microsoft be successful in japan.

they moment the game it's multiplatform they are screwed.

so they either buy square enix, pokemon, and capcom
it's the only way.
