Yea, the PS3 has been hard to find, but not like the Wii was in the first two years of it's existance where you could make a hefty profit off of e-baying a new unit. Right now you lose money once you pay tax for the new unit, and then pay shipping to sell it. Also up until this week, if I wanted a PS3 I could buy a new one no problem with a tiny bit of searching. I just tried searching now, and my area is now dried up.

I don't know about shortages. I've seen a couple of 250g PS3 in my local WalMart, I guess it's time to have one standard SKU instead of 3 or so different models in my opinion.

Awful sales for PS3 just when the software is hitting it's stride. I'm not sure who planned the production schedule for PS3 hardware but heads should roll.

Good sales all around. Everyones looking good though theres def some problems going on for Sony. I realize that shortages are hurting it but I'm also wondering if the boost from the PS3 slim is starting to wear off as well, at least in the America's.

But in the gamecubes days no one thought they will be back on top but if you love something with a passion then of course you will be proud of them to be doing good again.
